Journeying through life, one stitch at a time.

Hi! I’m Lisa, and I’m so glad you’re here. I created this space because all too often I’ve felt the overwhelm of everything being just too much. If you’re in one of those seasons when life feels like a 1,000 mile uphill journey and you thought you signed up for a walk around the block, you’re not alone.

Over the years, I have wrestled with the weight of not keeping up with the pace of life. It was only when I started stitching, and that ugly weight began to creep into that sphere in the form of a stitchalong schedule, that I noticed a shift. I began tackling my stitching one stitch, seam, block, and quilt at a time. Interestingly enough, that same approach worked in the rest of my life. Since then, I have begun to see my life as a series of tiny steps along a journey, and stitching has been a kind traveling companion along the way.

Stitching has proven a steady friend when seemingly endless seasons of unpredictability have threatened to pull me under. It has become a language of expression when words have failed me. My quilts have become entries in a fabric diary, chronicling my journey. Stitching has been a life coach, a cheerleader, and a reflection back to me that I too was created lovingly with purpose and care.

My hope for this space is that you might discover a rhythm of looking at your life, and stitching, as a journey. That you would begin to see them both as patchwork pieced together one stitch, and one step, at a time.

We all have a journey we are on, and it’s easy to lose our way in midst of it. I want to offer you a kind place to rest and a warm quilt to snuggle under in the form of a little bit of permission to begin cultivating the joy and healing of creativity, one stitch at a time. Then, just keep stitching.
